As a temporary fix, you can replace overflow-x: hidden; with overflow-x: auto;; then the scrollbar will only show up when you're at the very, very bottom of the page (for some mysterious reason).

Still working on making it better overall, but today is the day I'm taking off to make up for working through the weekend, SO NO CODE. X3
